Casa Mañana Presents GREASE, 9/15-23

The smash hit musical Grease comes to Casa Mañana Theatre September 15 – 23. Tickets are on sale now.

Casa Mañana's production of Grease stars Vince Oddo as "Danny Zuko," Heather Botts as "Sandy Dumbrowski," John Ashley Brown as "Kenickie," and Carrie A. Johnson as "Rizzo." Oddo recently appeared in the first National Tour of American Idiot and the National Tour of Cabaret. Botts, who is making her Casa Mañana debut, has performed in several productions at Oklahoma City University and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.

Brown previously played "Kenickie" in the National Tour of Grease opposite Frankie Avalon. He also appeared in the National Tour of Cirque Dreams and on the television series "All My Children." Johnson recently appeared in the original Broadway cast of Sister Act, as well as the National Tours of Les Misérables and The Producers.

Casa Mañana's production of Grease is directed and choreographed by Joel Ferrell. Ferrell most recently directed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat at Dallas Theatre Center, where he is the Associate Artistic Director. Ferrell is a former Artistic Director of Casa Mañana and served for two years on the selection committee for the National Alliance of Musical Theatre's New Works Festival in New York City.

Sheilah Walker is the Music Director, Jonathan Parke is the Sound Designer and Samuel Rushen is the Lighting Designer. Patti Delsordo is the Hair & Makeup Designer, Tammy Spencer is the Costume Designer and Katie Dill is the Scenic Designer.

Additional cast members include Maurice Johnson as "Teen Angel," Alison Hodgson as "Marty," Alixe Ward as "Jan," Laura Wetsel as "Frenchy," Aubrey Adams as "Patty," Kent Zimmerman as "Sonny LaTierri," John Hays as "Roger," Brad Bong as "Doody," Tanner Hanley as "Eugene Florczyk," Shannon Hucker as "Cha Cha Di Gregorio," Scott Sutton as "Vince Fontaine" and David Coffee as "Miss Lynch." Additional ensemble members include Lauren Weik, Ellie Hertel, Trevor Douglas and Cooper Rodgers.

Casa Mañana's production of Grease is presented for a limited engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth. Performance dates are September 15 at 2:00 pm and 8 pm; Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m; Tuesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m; Wednesday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m; Thursday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m; Friday, September 21 at 8:00 p.m; Saturday, September 22 at 8:00 p.m; and Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. This show is not suitable for all audiences, parental discretion is advised.

Friday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. is a student preview night with cast talkback following the show; open for students, faculty and staff with valid school ID for $10.

Ticket prices are $41 to $76, depending upon seating location. A $20 student rush ticket will be offered one hour prior to every performance with valid school ID.
