Circle Theatre Announces Productions for its 29th Season

Circle Theatre, a professional regional theatre in Sundance Square, is proud to announce its "play list" for 2010. Circle plans to premiere five main stage productions, with previews for the opening show beginning February 11th.

This year, Circle Theatre returns to producing work by two favorite playwrights, Michael Hollinger & Bruce Graham. Hollinger's production of Incorruptible was an audience and critics' hit in 2009. His recent play, Opus, is slated to open Circle's new season on Valentine's weekend. Producing Director, Rose Pearson, says, "Audiences will be surprised to discover the difference in tone in this year's Hollinger show. Comparing Incorruptible to Opus would be like putting Bollywood next to Beethoven!"

Circle is proud to present the second staging of Bruce Graham's new play, Something Intangible, which premiered at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, last year. Past Graham plays produced at Circle include: Desperate Affection; Moon Over the Brewery; According to Goldman; and Dex & Julie Sittin' in a Tree.

Four of Circle's plays, this year, are area premieres. One (The Great American Trailer Park Musical - a recent hit in Dallas) is debuting in Fort Worth for the first time.

Circle Theatre's upcoming season includes:

Something Intangible by Bruce Graham
When You Wish Upon a Star...
