PAFW and Casa Manana Announce Their 2010-2011 Broadway Seasons

Performing Arts Fort Worth and Casa Mañana are proud to announce their 2010-2011 Broadway seasons, Broadway at the Bass and Broadway at Casa Mañana. Season renewals and new subscriptions available NOW!

With these respective Broadway season announcements, Performing Arts Fort Worth (PAFW) and Casa Mañana will enter a new chapter in their longtime, ongoing relationship. PAFW will now be the presenter for national Broadway tours at Bass Performance Hall, while Casa Mañana will now produce Broadway shows at Casa Mañana Theatre. Both organizations continue to work collaboratively to provide the best that Broadway has to offer.

Dione Kennedy, President and CEO of PAFW, and Wally Jones, President and Executive Producer of Casa Mañana, said: "We truly feel like the community is getting the best of both worlds - the opportunity to experience first-class musical theater with Broadway touring product presented at Bass Performance Hall and Casa-produced musicals at Casa Mañana Theatre."

Performing Arts Fort Worth's Broadway at the Bass season will be made up of five touring Broadway shows: Cirque Dreams Illumination (Nov. 30-Dec. 5); The Ten Tenors (Feb. 22-27, 2011); A Chorus Line (March 29-April 3, 2011); Disney's Beauty and the Beast (April 19-24, 2011); and 9 to 5: The Musical (July 26-31, 2011). In addition, Performing Arts Fort Worth will present the Casa Mañana-produced Jesus Christ Superstar (June 16-22, 2011) as part of its 2010-2011 Broadway at the Bass season. All performances will be held at Bass Performance Hall.

Casa Mañana's Broadway at Casa Mañana season will feature four shows: Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music (Sept. 11-19); The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas starring Ruta Lee (Oct. 23-31); Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita (Feb. 5-13, 2011); and Hairspray (Aug. 13-21, 2011). All performances will take place at Casa Mañana Theatre, 3101 W. Lancaster Ave.

Currently, season renewals and new subscriptions are available by calling the Subscriber Hotline at (817) 212-4450. Season tickets are also available at the Bass Performance Hall ticket office at 525 Commerce Street. Ticket office hours: Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sales for tickets to individual shows will be announced at a later date.
