Soulpepper Presents Anton Chekhov's THE SEAGULL Next Month

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts will present the Canadian Premiere of English by Sanaz Toossi in a co-production with Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre Company. Winner of the 2022 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play, English will be in the Sylvan Adams Theatre for a limited number of performances from March 19 to April 2, 2023. DanceHouse presents the BC premiere of Bboyizm's celebrated work In My Body, on stage March 17 and 18, 2023 at 8pm at the Vancouver Playhouse. Conceived and created by renowned street dancer and choreographer Yvon “Crazy Smooth” Soglo, In My Body is a profound examination of the effects of aging in a dance genre known for intense athleticism, bravado and the show of invincibility.

Rob Sedgwick and Tony Award-Winning Actor Anthony Crivello have announced that they will present a private industry reading of Mr. Sedgwick's new play Please Leave. Directed by Bob Balaban, the reading will feature Emmy and Tony Award-Winning actor Tony Shalhoub, David Rasche, Clark Johnson, and Tony Award-Nominee Johanna Day.
Principal Dancer Piotr Stanczyk Retires After 25 Years in November 2023

Hope Muir, Joan and Jerry Lozinski Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, announced that Principal Dancer Piotr Stanczyk will retire after 25 years with The National Ballet of Canada in November of 2023. Stanczyk will dance in the company’s upcoming Winter and Summer Seasons and his farewell performances will take place in the Fall Season during the 2023/24 season.
