The West End production of Movin' Out will now open on April 10th, rather than the previously-announced April 18th.

All other dates for the show, however, remain the same, with the Twyla Tharp-Billy Joel dance musical to begin performances on March 28th and to end its limited run on July 17th before setting off on a tour of continental Europe. The change in opening date is due to the producers' assurance that the performers--five of whom have already appeared in the show in the U.S.--will be ready for the show to play before audiences.

Movin' Out will feature James Fox as The Piano Player will be Laura Costa-Chaud as Judy, Holly Cruickshank as Brenda, Matthew Dibble as James, David Gomez as Tony, and Ron Todorowski as Eddie. With the exception of Dibble, all have danced in the show during its Broadway run. All except Costa Chaud, who has danced with numerous European dance companies, headline the current US tour.

Movin' Out, set to the classic hits of song-writer Billy Joel, tells the story of six friends whose lives are changed through war, love, and separation during the 60s and 70s in America. The show relies on dance and Joel's narrative songs with no dialogue. Movin' Out won 2003 Tony Awards for Best Choreography by Tharp, and Best Orchestrations by Joel and Stuart Malina. It was also nominated for Best Musical.

Julieta Gros, Laurie Kanyok, Brendan King, Keith Roberts, Rasta Thomas and Darren Holden are also featured in the US tour of Movin' Out. For more information on the US tour, visit www.movinoutonbroadway.com.
